What I did?

Clear CTA Differentiation
The primary and secondary CTAs were visually separated to remove confusion. The Continue button now stands out as the dominant action, while secondary actions are styled more subtly, helping users make the right choice faster and with confidence.

Resolved Card Selection Ambiguity
The selection state of user cards was redesigned to be more intuitive. Clear visual markers now indicate the active card, reducing guesswork and ensuring users immediately recognize which option is selected.

Consistent and Meaningful Card Borders
Borders were standardized and assigned clear meanings. Instead of arbitrary colors, each border style now communicates a specific state, creating consistency and reducing cognitive load for users.

Sidebar Improvements for Visual Clarity
The sidebar was redesigned with brand-aligned icons and a stronger highlight for the active tab. This improved navigation clarity and ensured users always know exactly where they are in the process.

Improved Visual Hierarchy in Layout
The page layout was restructured to emphasize priority elements. Key actions and content areas now draw attention first, guiding users through the flow naturally and efficiently.

Enhanced Text Visibility
Text contrast and size were refined to make information easier to scan and read. This improved accessibility and reduced eye strain, ensuring critical details are never missed.

Refined “Urgent Care” Section Hierarchy
The Urgent Care section was reorganized with clearer hierarchy and spacing. The redesign makes the service details more prominent, supporting quicker decision-making for users.

AllyHealth

A Virtual Healthcare Platform

Menu

Background

AllyHealth is a 24/7 virtual care platform that connects employees and families with doctors, therapists, and health experts. Its modular design lets organizations tailor healthcare benefits, driving higher engagement and seamless care experiences year-round.

Problem

Imagine a healthcare professional logging into a platform they use daily to manage critical patient data and coordinate with other specialists. Instead of a smooth, reassuring experience, they face:

  • An outdated interface that looks like it hasn’t been touched in years, making them question if the platform is still actively supported.

  • Inconsistent layouts and styles from one page to another, forcing them to pause and reorient every time they switch sections.

  • Cluttered screens with too much information crammed together, making it harder to spot the data they need quickly.

  • Unintuitive navigation that turns simple tasks into frustrating scavenger hunts.

For a busy healthcare professional, every second counts.
Yet, this outdated design slowed them down, added unnecessary stress, and chipped away at their trust in the platform — a dangerous risk in an industry where accuracy, speed, and trust are critical.

This redesign wasn’t just about making things “look better”
It was about:

  • Restoring confidence in the platform

  • Helping healthcare professionals work faster and more accurately

  • Aligning the experience with modern usability and design standards

  • Ensuring every click supports — not hinders — their workflow
